Before we start with the process, make sure that you have already installed your favorite font on your computer. You can check your fronts by simply opening the Fonts folder through the Run command. Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard and in the Run window, type words “Fonts” and click Enter or you can also try under Settings > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts.

How do I set a default font in Excel?

To Change default font in Excel 2010 and later versions;
  • 👉 Step1: Open any Microsoft Excel Sheet on your PC.
  • 👉 Step2: Click on the File menu on the top left side of the Ribbon.
  • 👉 Step3: A new Excel options windows will be opened.
  • 👉 Step4: Just right under the Excel Options > General Tab > When creating new workbooks > use this font.
  • 👉 Step5: Click on the drop-down list under the "Use this font" and choose your desired/favorite font and also set the font size.
